Week 3 brought about a lot of progress in both media, programming and manufacturing teams. As you can see below, we are hard at work getting ready for the Chairman’s award submission and the overall look of our robot. The competition team has been fine tuning the robot code for several autonomous mode functions using new sensors including a gyro an accelerometer and the camera. The manufacturing team has painted the robot in our team colors and has added space for electronics to be placed. They are currently working on finalizing the design of the orbit ball basket.
The Media group has begun making strides in preparation of the upcoming media event to showcase our robot before the ship date. They have also been working on tutorials to provide other teams help in terms of their public relations. Within the next couple of weeks they will be working tirelessly on the Chairman’s Award and this years new presentation theme, The Wizard of Oz.
