Hey there future readers of this bio,

My name is Ashley Tepe and I am a junior veteran to the team for three years now. WOW I myself cant believe that I have lasted that long because to tell you (the future reader of this bio) the truth I am not exactly the engineering type. But hopefully this will give other non-engineering people, hope that they (other readers) CAN DO IT!!! At this point you (the reader) are probably asking yourself why I am still on the team. And I have an answer.... and it is that I love building things, and robotics has offered the perfect opportunity. So anyways what I am trying to say is... I love robotics because it offers so many opportunities to learn new things. So if you (the future reader) ever has an opportunity to join take it.

What is up my home skillets!!! How is your morning, hope your coffee tastes just as good as my bio does…!  This, unfortunately is only my second year on the team due to my volleyball adventures the two years before, and if you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m a senior.  In addition, I am  a co-manufacturing team leader with my trusty sidekick William.  SO , ever since I was a young strong lad, I’m 18 now, I’ve been fascinated with building things; everything from Lego models to Gundam model kits, K-Nex, and most recently cookies.  Furthermore, these cookies have been royally dubbed Bearlicious Hunbutters; made with Teddy Grahams, honey, butter…hey that’s secret you conniving little…never mind.  My favorite color is brown pants.  My favorite bands are somewhere between Coheed and Cambria, and Say Anything, listen to them they’re great.  I have magic powers and can communicate with all earth metals.  In, conclusion, I am a very courteous, burly, funny, and mystical creature; or so I like to think.

Jessie is 16 years young.

Tyler Barker

Nickname: Zebra Daddy

My name is Tyler Barker and this is my F.I.R.S.T. year on robotics. I have sort of been interested in Robotics ever since I came into high school. I just finally got the time to join. I play football and baseball at my high school. I plan to go to college after high school. Robotics is great for any person to join and I plan to help out after high school.

 

Eva Bartell

Nickname: Gerbil

Hey there! My name is Eva Bartell, I'm 17, a junior and I’m  on the manufacturing subteam! ;) this is my third year on Team 399 and the ninth year for my family! Robotics is an amazing club which I could not have imagined NOT being a part of Team 399 is not only the team which I am on, but it's my own little family! I do have a few other things i love other than robotics though, I'm cheating i know. I play volleyball and I swim for our high school too (but i do love robotics more)! I love to be healthy, therefore I like to stay away from things which are bad for me, i.e. JUNK FOOD! lastly, but most importantly, I love God with all my heart! And with God in my life I don't need a boy to make me happy! So there ya go, you now know all my juicy lil secrets! If you're going to the San Diego and/or Los Angeles Regionals I hope to see you there! I'll be the one with the biggest smile in the arena ;)

Sam Bartell

Nickname: Spider Monkey

My name is Sam Bartell and this is my first year on the team and in high school. I love Robotics, I’ve wanted to be on the team ever since my brother was on it nine years ago. My two brothers and sister were on the team. I love the tools I use and everything else, especially the food. I love playing outside, rock-climbing, hiking, and paintball.

Nickname: Little Mermaid

Hey there my fellow robotic friends, I’m Christine. I’m 17 years old and a junior. This is my third year on the team and I plan on joining senior year as well. My nickname is the Little Mermaid. I personally don’t like it. The reason why it is my nickname is the fact that my last name is Bastian which sounds like Sebastian who is in the Little Mermaid. Do you see how ridiculous it is? I’m currently on design/ manufacturing. Manufacturing is my true calling but Amber made me join design. (don’t tell her, but I actually enjoyed learning about design and am possibly thinking about being design leader next year  )

Markie Broderick

Nickname: Marks A Lot

Hello world! Markie is a rookie! She likes blue markers. She loves to eat food. Markie’s favorite is popsicles. She dislikes Spanish with an intense passion. She does not like green eggs and ham, No she doesn’t, Sam you are not. In conclusion, pickles are gross and monkeys are cool!

Kyle Bundy

Nickname: Windows 95

Kyle is seventeen years old, a senior, but a rookie on the robotics team. Kyle ran Cross Country through junior year, Track and Field through sophomore year, and didn’t enjoy it too much so he decided to join the robotics team. It took a little convincing from Brendan Mehaffy but Kyle went through with it and joined the manufacturing team. Kyle received his nickname from his friends Tim and Nick Morris; they noticed that it takes Kyle’s brain a while to process information – probably longer than it should. They then reached the consensus that Kyle’s brain operates as fast as a computer running a Windows 95 operating system. So from that moment on, Kyle became known as “Windows 95.” Kyle loves to sleep…excessively and eat food that is likely to yield diabetes by age thirty. And sometimes, Kyle enjoys writing bios in third person.

Chandler Giles

NickName: The New Kid

Chandler Giles has been on eagle robotics for three years. Chandler has been on the manufacturing team all three of those years, and is leading up the electronics efforts on the robot this year. He has also spent the last three years mentoring the Cole jr. robotics team in witch he spent two years before joining the high school team. 010101010101010101. ERROR!

Eric Goodchild

Nickname: Brainiac

Eric is a brainiac as his nickname implies. He always has fresh ideas and concepts for the robot. He enjoys robotics and the FIRST experience, but dislikes writing bios.

Suriya Karim

NickName: Pink Panther

Hello my name is Suriya Karim.  I am currently a sophomore this year at EAGLE robotics.  I think that math and science is very fun, although it is hard.  I joined the team to make school fun and not only learn about technology but also learn about teamwork.

Lauren Parke

Nickname: Bright Eyes

Hola my name es Lauren!  I’m a freshman at Lancaster High School and a rookie on the Eagle Robotics team!  I have many talents.  I won a spelling bee.  Well, I didn’t win it.  I didn’t even compete in one.  I think I could win it though.  Raspberry.  Ravioli.  Those are good words for a spelling bee.  Even though I had to spell check Ravioli.  Besides Robotics, I dance.  Lyrical and ballet are my fortes.  Hey, that rhymed!  Sort of. So yes.  I have great grades and great friends and I totally hope this year on Robotics will be AWESOME!  (I love Theresa and Julie!)

Aaron Plummer

NickName: Napoleon

Aaron is a junior, and is a second-year returning member of the team. Some people think that he is a cool guy, but Aaron disagrees. (most of the time jokingly) He enjoys working on the manufacturing sub-team and the learning experience it provides. He is most grateful for having the opportunity to meet all the wonderful people involved with robotics. Aaron thinks that referring to himself in the third-person is kind of creepy, but he does so for the sake of writing this biography.

Abbie Romboaoa

Currently this is her 2nd wonderful year with strangers. She is 15, until March 13, loves long walks on the beach, a tall dark man reading her poetry candle light dinners.... Anyways that's her bio, hoped you enjoyed this. In conclusion, potatoes >>> string beans.

Hello! My name is Julie Shostak.  I am a freshman at Lancaster High and this year I’m on the robotics team. Well since I’m a freshman, I’m obviously new at robotics so that means I am a rookie. I also am in ballet and I love it!  I love to draw and I’m obsessed with ravioli. I’m just a very happy person and I love to laugh. Theresa is my favorite! Anyway, Robotics is probably the most fun I have had all year! I have met so many amazing people this year from this club, man, it’s the best!
