My name is Jill Minor and I’m a SENIOR and am the Leader de Media Team. I am the Chief Financial Officer which is a fancy way of saying I deal with all of the money. Media team is like a group of hardworking businessmen (women) who party like no other.  

Darla Weber

Nickname: Blonde Tornado

Darla is a junior and this is her first year on the robotics team. She enjoys making people laugh. She loves dancing around and making odd faces at the surrounding people. Sometimes, if the right song is playing, she will attempt to break dance. There was a time in her life she seriously considered becoming a mime, but the outfits weren’t cute enough. when she gets really tired she can be found walking around in an odd way mumbling incoherently to herself. She often finds herself the subject of her best friends photography. She adores reading, rapping, acting, and chilling. She loves working on the media team for robotics, obviously, or she wouldn’t have the opportunity to make her best friend write this bio for her.

Emma Reed

Nickname: Word Count

She is a junior who, although not being a singer or a dancer, only and actress, had been doing musicals for the past 5 years. She, with a little help and persuasion from her best friend, Danielle Clarke, decided to branch out and try robotics. She now gets her drama fix from her advanced drama class, and of course the daily monologue performed for her bathroom mirrors. She loves to organize, an odd commodity, but one she hopes will be helpful to the robotics teams. She also loves photography and writing, in her spare time, although that has been taken by robotics now. She doesn’t mind though, as she truly enjoys it, but sometimes she does miss her bed.

Kirsten Van Langenhoven

NickName: Poof-Ball

She is a 15 year-old sophomore at Eastside High School. This is her second year of high school robotics, although she was a member of LEGO robotics during her 8th grade year. She is crazy about photography, anime (especially Pokemon!), Evanescence, and sporks (she likes many more things, but the list would be to long)...and if you have a problem with that...beware! She also likes technology and almost every kind of science....NERDS UNITE!! Her equally crazy friend inspired her to join the Eagle Robotics Team, plus she wanted to take pictures of everyone, including the robot, whether they wanted to or not. Now that she's finally done talking...EVERYBODY DANCE!!!

Rabia Karimi

Hi, my name is Rabia Karimi. This is my first year in Robotics and I am loving it. I am a rookie on the Media and Marketing team, which is the best team ever. I split my time between golf, AFJROTC, homework, and Robotics. I am very excited to be on the team and I can’t wait until we finish the robot. 

Lindsay Hayes

Nickname: Mad-Libs

My name is Lindsay, I’m a freshman at LnHS, and my favorite color is orange. I love robotics and the people here. This is my first official year on the team but I’ve been going to competitions for four years now and I love it.

Danielle Clarke, Secretary

NickName: Meyr

Danielle Clarke has a wide variety of interests.

She loves trivia games and puzzles--but hates to lose. She absolutely loves to learn new things and likes playing D&D and video games, but between robotics and 4 AP classes, she doesn’t have much free time. On robotics, besides taking up the minutes she is the Mac expert of the media group (excluding Craft) and scouting extraordinaire, and co-webmistress.

Theresa Bastian

Nickname: The Mooch

Yo! I am Theresa! You wish you were me…so I was told to write one of these thingys but I still don’t know what to write…so I think ill start by saying that I’m a freshman which obviously makes this my first year ….mmhm…wow I just realized how boring I am….*crickets*…ok well I don really know anything about myself…well I like pretty much all fast food and kool-aid works well with a kool kid like me…and root beer with sour patch kids are the BEST!!! (hugging old people in Costco is pretty fabulous too)

Sabrina Buie

Nickname: Binary

My name is Sabrina Buie. This is my third year on the

team. For the past three years I've spent many hours

with the media team and hanging out with the most

amazing people! I love puzzles of all kinds,

volleyball (my favorite!), astronomy, and the RAIN

(nature in general :D).  When I'm not spending my time

at robotics I'm usually with my family, they are

amazing.  I have a new puppy, her name is Sadie and

she is my little love. Anyway, Jill and Froghopper are

my favorite and robotics is amazing!! Robotics changes
